My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was great, right next to Hyde Park, but the surrounding area with cheap hotels and proximity to Paddington was not the best. The rooms were a bit of a letdown; they were quite tired and very noisy with an awful inside court view, but on the upside, they were spacious for a city hotel and had tea & coffee facilities, plus a fridge in the room. The service, despite being short-staffed, was incredible with kind and professional staff. However, the dining options were poor and uninspiring. The hotel offers good facilities, with easy access to nearby tube stations and excellent staff, but there is room for improvement for a few days' visit to London.
